After four years of studying at the New School for jazz and contemporary music, Ayse Elif Ozkan showcases a combination of distinctive Turkish and western sounds in her senior recital. She is accompanied by Taulant Mehmeti (guitar).

Born in Istanbul, Turkey Ayse Elif Ozkan is a singer-songwriter currently studying at The New School for Jazz as a vocal major. Growing up in a culture where the east meets the west, she artfully mixes traditional Turkish sounds with western genres such as jazz and blues.
